Certified Nursing Assistant
Students learn how to provide assistance that enriches the lives of their long-term care patients. Students learn how to empower patients by protecting their rights, addressing their basic care needs and teaching patients how to care for themselves. A host of interesting topics are covered, including: developing interpersonal skills; providing basic care; taking vital signs; providing good nutrition; following safety and emergency procedures; providing restorative care; managing information; dealing with death and dying. There is no prerequisite for this course. Graduates of the CNA program earn certificates and Georgia State Licenses. Payment arrangements are available. |
